The Pump House Reserve free camping site in Gundagai is situated on the banks of Morleys Creek, just 1.5kms from the centre of town.

With easy access, this campground offers a quiet, peaceful setting, level sites and plenty of space for self-contained caravans and RVs to stay for up to 72 hours. We found Pump House Reserve to be the quieter of the two free camps in Gundagai, and it made the perfect base for exploring all the things to see and do in Gundagai.

Fishing and swimming can be enjoyed in the creek. There are no amenities at the Pump House Reserve campground, however there is a dump point nearby at the historic railway station.

While free, donations are greatly appreciated and can be made in the box at the entry gate to the Pump House Reserve camping area.

For an alternative Gundagai free camping area, there is the Morleys Creek free camp on Oibell Drive for self-contained vehicles.
