Archers Crossing free camp is located approximately 6kms south-east of Chinchilla on the banks of the Condamine River, and is a quieter option for camping if you find the nearby Chinchilla Weir free campground too busy.
While there are no amenities here, there is plenty of space on the large flat area when you first enter the campground gates. Otherwise you can follow the tracks down along the river to find a more secluded spot if you have a smaller set-up or are camping in a tent.
